Crestron, the world’s leading manufacturer of advanced control and automation systems, will be making its debut at sustainable development event Retrofit Tech, Dubai, 14-15 March.
At Retrofit Tech 2016, Crestron will be introducing its Crestron Fusion Cloud building management software, a flexible office management platform that can be retrofitted to update a building’s existing technology. In addition, Tim Hymans, Marketing Director of Crestron EMEA will be taking to the stage to present a keynote entitled ‘Maximising your most valuable assets: People, Places and Technology’ on Monday 14 March at 10:10am. In this insightful presentation, Tim will share expert insights on how sustainable new technology is already benefitting companies around the world.
“We’re exciting to be part of Retrofit Tech and look forward to showcasing Fusion RV to companies that want to know more about sustainable office management.” comments Tim Hymans; “The event explores solutions that can reduce energy use, which is something Crestron are also passionate about. In my presentation I’ll be discussing how retrofit technology can support companies’ environmental policies and also save them money.”
Crestron Fusion Cloud is the first cloud-based version of Crestron’s hugely successful office management platform, designed to manage companies’ multimedia, environmental and room-scheduling needs with ease. This one-of-a-kind platform provides full, real-time visibility into the enterprise at the individual room and device levels.
At the event, executives will also demonstrate how Crestron Fusion Cloud, used with the new Crestron PinPoint mobile app, clears a path for employees to work smarter, faster and more efficiently and helps improve companies’ bottom lines. Moreover, the system supports an energy efficient approach with features that include:
- Automatically switching lights off when a room is not in use
- Scheduled systems shut downs
- Automated temperature control (heating / cooling)
- Pre-sets for when the building is not in use
Retrofit Tech launched in 2015 following an ambitious goal from the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy to reduce energy demand by 30% by 2030. To achieve this goal, the Council identified retrofitting and refurbishing existing buildings to make them more energy efficient, as a core strategy. Retrofit Tech, supported by governing bodies including the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy and Dubai Municipality, focuses on sustainable technology capable of reducing electricity and water consumption.
