About 14 Dubai based organizations exhibited their products and businesses during the maiden roadshow done in East Africa by the Dubai Tourism. From 24th to 30th August, the event was targeted to give local companies a direct access to diverse services provided by operators from the Emirate. flydubai, which was announced half a decade ago, is set assist to contribute to the vision of the Emirate to be identified as a global centre for aviation and tourism. At the event, flydubai, exhibited their business services in Uganda and Tanzania.
flydubai expressed itâ€™s relatively cheaper and dependable straight air-links to Dubai and also the rise in number of flights each week. In a statement by Sudhir Sreedharan (SVP Commercial Operations at flydubai), he said â€ś we operate 82 weekly flights to 11 points in Africa, including 3 weekly flights to Entebbe and 4 weekly flights to Dar es Salaam and Zanzibarâ€ť. Later this year, flydubai is expecting to spur their weekly flights to 4 and 7 Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar respectively.
Having involved itself in the maiden roadshow, Sudhir mentioned that the company is very glad to be involved and also the possibility of providing direct flights from the East African region to Dubai is very positive. In his statement, he mentioned that their interest in East Africa is due to the substantial growth of the region in recent times. Currently flydubai operates 82 weekly flights to 11 points in Africa. Additionally, the company which operates a single fleet type of Next-Generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft, has improved some of their flights to have WiFi and Live TV.
Over the years, flydubai has provided efficient, tryst-worthy, and quality services and offers with business and economy classes â€“ thus, strengthening the possibility to attract more visitors to Dubai.
