Halal Travel

Travel Counsellors prides itself in offering clients a personalised and bespoke service and in the UAE, this means catering to the faith-based needs of its discerning Muslim customers. It is therefore looking to position itself as a leading halal travel provider. Last year two of its Travel Counsellors were accredited by CrescentRating – a leading authority on halal tourism – and now the travel agency firm is collaborating with specialist Muslim-friendly suppliers. Travel Counsellors took part in the inaugural ATM Global Halal Tourism Summit earlier this year and will be exhibiting at the World Halal Tourism Summit in Abu Dhabi in November. Travel Counsellors and its team of UAE-based travel professionals have committed to selling Halal Travel as a key growth driver for the business.

Accessible Travel

The Travel Counsellors global network is looking to make Accessible Travel a top priority. It comes hot off the heels of the World Tourism Day 2016 theme, ‘Tourism for All – promoting universal accessibility’, spearheaded by the UNWTO, with Travel Counsellors looking to become a leader in this movement. The company has identified Accessible Travel as another focus for driving business development in the UAE and globally over the next few years.

Top outbound travel trends

The Travel Counsellors business model, its success story in the UAE and globally, and why it is looking to recruit more travel professionals. Why is Travel Counsellors different? What makes a good Travel Counsellor?
