A new guide released in both English and Arabic was launched by the U.A.E minister of economy H.E Engineer Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori in conjunction with the National Research Council. The guide highlights the Ministry’s objectives in the implementation of the vision 2021.
The launch was part of celebrations to mark the ministry of economy’s innovation month 2018. The guide is a component of the national initiatives in the implementation of the National Innovation Strategy that was presented to the National Committee for Science, Technology, and Innovation (NCSTI) issued by the cabinet to promote business in UAE.
Accompanying the UAE Minister of Economy in the launch held at the Dusit Thani hotel in Abu Dhabi were; Undersecretary of Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Economy, H.E. Eng. Mohammed Bin Abdul Aziz Al Shehhi.
Undersecretary in the Ministry of Foreign Trade Affairs, H.E. Abdullah Bin Ahmed Al Saleh, Secretary General of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Humaid Mohamed bin Salem, a group of local entrepreneurs and representatives from the private sector, federal and local authorities, and some officials from the Ministry. A conducive legislative investment environment based on best international standards has positioned the U.A.E as an essential center for entrepreneurship and innovation.
The UAE Minister of Economy said that highly specialized institutions had been established coupled with an enhanced understanding of the vital role of innovation, to improve business in UAE. According to UAE Minister of Economy, the guide covers key topics that highlight scientific and practical aspects that define innovation as part of the ministry’s pivotal role in promoting business in UAE. H.E. Humaid bin Mohammed bin Salem in his speech said that the private sector remains an active strategic partner towards achieving vision 2021.
