The 2nd edition of “Souks to Malls” a coffee table book to launch at RECon 2018 by the Middle East Council of Shopping Centres to celebrate 25 years of excellence in the MENA region
As the Middle East Council of Shopping Centre’s celebrates 25 years in the region, to mark this special milestone, MECSC will be launching the “Souks to Malls” a limited edition coffee table book highlighting the retail entertainment in the Gulf. This coffee table book will be launched on Sunday, October 28, 2018, at the RECon MENA 2018 Cocktail Reception which kicks starts the largest retail conference in the region.
David Macadam, CEO, MECSC says, “Souks to Malls” is a pictorial chronicle of retail entertainment adopted by retailers and malls in the face of a changing economy of the millennia. This coffee table book is to be launched alongside RECon 2018 – as MECSC celebrates 25years in the region, we use this book as a platform to showcase the regions most notable achievements.”
The Middle East Council of Shopping Centres will be celebrating 25 silver years of presence in the MENA region this year at RECon 2018, with members from 45 countries worldwide. The book will highlight retailers who are revolutionizing the shopping experience with entertainment, Theme Parks, Water Parks and F&B industry. The countries covered in the book are UAE, Saudi, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain.
